Former PRIDE open weight grand-prix champion, Mirko Cro Cop has answered the call to arms when it comes to a possible fight with fellow legend Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira, explaining he’s ready to take on the Jiu-Jitsu master, even in Brazil this August. Speaking via Fighters Only Magazine, Cro Cop said:
“Yes I saw the comments made by Nogueira’s boxing coach and I agree. I am ready to fight Nogueira any time, even in Brazil in August.”
Both of these legends will be looking to get back to winning ways if they meet with Nogueira falling short against current champion, Cain Velasquez back in February 2010 and Cro Cop suffering a similar fate at the hands of hot prospect, Brendan Schaub just a few months ago.
