UFC 131: Dustin Poirier vs Jason Young booked for June 11 with Rani Yahya hurt

Up-and-coming featherweight prospect Dustin Poirier will get a new opponent for UFC 131 in the form of Jason Young after an injury to Rani Yahya forced him to withdraw from the June 4 fight card currently scheduled for the Rogers Arena in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
The promotion tweeted the re-worked match-up earlier today.
Poirier (9-1), at the ripe old age of 22, had his coming out party at the expense of Josh Grispi at UFC 125: "Resolution" back on Jan. 1.
Filling in for an injured Jose Aldo, "The Diamond" dominated the former featherweight number one contender from bell to bell.
But will he continue to sparkle in the "City of Glass?"

Young (8-3) has been making some noise overseas and is currently enjoying a two-fight winning streak. After outpointing Sergej Grecichoat at CWFC 38: "Young Guns" in October 2010, "Shotgun" put three rounds into Jorge Britto to come out a winner at MMA: "The Reckoning" just last month.
Welcome to the big show, Mr. Young.
UFC 131: "Lesnar vs. Dos Santos" will feature former UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar, as he tries to eliminate opposing Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 13 coach Junior dos Santos from the division title chase.
The winner is expected to face reigning champion Cain Velasquez later this year.
Also booked for "Hollywood North" is former division number one contender and Interim title holder Shane Carwin, who returns from the injured reserves to welcome submission ace Jon Olav Einemo to the Octagon in the Abu Dhabi champ's UFC debut.
