That's apparently BJ Penn's thought process as he heals up from a recent shoulder injury that knocked him out of the upcoming UFC 132 fight card on July 2.
"The Prodigy" was all set to take on Jon Fitch in a rematch of their hotly contested Feb. 27 bout in Australia; however, Jonny boy injured his shoulder and just recently had successful surgery, knocking him out for no less than six to eight weeks.
Son of a Fitch.
Penn is apparently ready to roll, though, and if he has his way, he'll be back on the UFC 134: "Rio" card on Aug. 27 in Rio de Janiero, Brazil. From the Fighters Only report:
"The Prodigy", who has close ties and a strong history with Brazil, is also decided to try and get a fight on the UFC 134 card in Rio. He says he will go to train at the Nova Uniao facility in Rio de Janeiro for a month in advance if he gets a slot on the card.
