Speaking via UFC.com, Dana White said:
“Better late than never, verbal agreements are in for what should be an action-packed match between Alessio Sakara and Jorge Rivera at UFC 133.”
The two men were originally set to meet on the UFC 122 card in Oberhausen, Germany but Sakara pulled out at the eleventh hour due to injury. Both men are looking to rebound from losses, Rivera being stopped by Michael Bisping in February while Sakara lost out to octagon newcomer, Chris Weidman via unanimous decision.
