UFC 132 – Andre Winner aware of Anthony Njokuani’s talents but he’s sure he’ll find an answer for them

UFC lightweight slugger, Andre Winner has been giving his thoughts on his recently announced UFC 132 clash with WEC import, Anthony Njokuani on July 2nd in Las Vegas, Nevada, explaining he knows the Nigerian born fighter possesses an interesting problem for him but he’s sure he’ll come through it.
Speaking via MMAWeekly.com, Winner said:
“Every fight’s a big fight. Every fight’s your most important fight, so nothing changes there. So, no not really, doesn’t put any extra pressure on me.”
“He’s a pretty good kickboxer, so it should be an interesting match-up. He’s quite rangy, uses his strikes well, and I was impressed with his last fight against Edson Barboza, that was a good fight. Real good technical fight. I’m looking forward to the match-up.”
“He’s a little more kickboxer-ish than myself. He poses problems, but I’m sure I can find solutions for them. I’ve got some good people to spar with, ideal for this fight.”
This will be a do-or-die situation for Winner after losing back-to-back fights inside the octagon to Nik Lentz and Dennis Siver. Prior to that he’d defeated Roli Delgardo and Rafaello Oliveira. Stay tuned to MMABay for more build-up to this one as we get it.
