The official weigh-in event for Strikeforce Challengers 15 is now in the books. The last pre-fight event before tomorrow night's card, which airs live on Showtime at 11 p.m. ET, took place today in Stockton, California.
Sixteen of the 18 fighters successfully made weight the first time around. Tristin Arenal was one full pound over the 156-pound limit for his fight against Tom Peterson and Scott Lighty was 0.2 pounds over for his light heavyweight match against Lorenz Larkin.
Arenal will have two full hours to drop one pound and Lighty must drop 0.2 pounds in the same timeframe.
The main event of Strikeforce Challengers 15 will feature a lightweight battle between rising prospect contender Justin "The Silverback" Wilcox and former title challenger Rodrigo Damm. Also on the card is an exciting lightweight bout between heavy hitting David "Tarzan" Douglas and the crafty submission artist Caros "The Future" Fodor.
