UK fans set to miss out on a UFC event until September / October at the earliest after promises fall flat as expected

UK MMA fans are set to be disappointed yet again after it was today revealed the UFC will not be holding a show on these shores over the summer months, with the earliest estimates suggesting sometime around September or October.
A source close to the promotion revealed the news earlier today to MMABay.co.uk, adding that it was the same old excuse of “scheduling problems” that had thrown a spanner into the works.
Fans in the UK have grown impatient of the lies coming their way from the Las Vegas based promotion and in particular the UK head of operations, Marshall Zelaznik who promised between FOUR to SIX events during the course of 2011. At the time MMABay predicted this would not be the case and that we would see the normal annual visit in the final quarter of the year.
