Jim Miller says the UFC should grant him a lightweight title shot if Anthony Pettis fails to defeat Clay Guida

UFC lightweight contender, Jim Miller has been speaking about his hopes for a shot at the title currently around the waist of champion, Frankie Edgar, explaining if Anthony Pettis drops the ball when he takes to the octagon next then he feels he should be next in line.
Speaking via Tatame Magazine, Miller said:
I see myself near the top. Like Dana was saying, there’s a lot going on in our division, so we need to see how everything pans out. I’ll fight who they put in front of me. , I think I deserve it more than Guida. Pettis, if he wins, they’ll unify the WEC and UFC belt, so that makes sense. If he loses, I think I should be right up there knocking on the door.”
Pettis is set to go head-to-head with Guida on the season thirteen finale of “The Ultimate Fighter”, a fight that will make or break Miller’s hopes for an immediate crack at the lightweight title. Stay tuned to MMABay in the coming months for more on this situation as we get.
