Fabricio Werdum admits the UFC are the best, hints at future return to the octagon

Strikeforce heavyweight submission machine, Fabricio Werdum has today admitted the UFC are the best following the recent buy-out of the California based MMA promotion before hinting a future return to the octagon could be on the cards in the next twelve months.
Speaking via Tatame Magazine, Werdum said:
“Strikeforce was doing well, growing strongly, but let’s face the facts, the UFC is the best of the world, a stronger brand… You have to unit with the best. Now I can say, right? (laughs) Joe Silva told me to call him as soon as I was ‘free’, to call him to negotiate, but now we’re at the same home again (laughs).”
Werdum will go head-to-head with Strikeforce heavyweight champion, Alistair Overeem in June in a quarter final grand prix fight. Could we see a return to the octagon for Werdum win or lose against “The Reem” at some point in 2012?
