TUF 13 Finale: Jonathan Brookins vs Jeremy Stephens booked for June 4 in Las Vegas

Welcome to the big leagues, Mr. Brookins.
After capturing a "six-figure contract" at the conclusion of The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 12 back in December 2010, UFC lightweight prospect Jonathan Brookins is returning to the Spike TV airwaves when he meets 155-pound veteran Jeremy Stephens on the main card of TUF 13 live finale on June 4 in Las Vegas.
Heavy.com brought word of the pending match-up earlier today.
Brookins (12-3) was last seen surviving the offensive stylings of fellow finalist Michael Johnson (and a lawsuit from Bellator CEO Bjorn Rebney) to capture the TUF crown on season 12 of the popular reality series.
He's currently enjoying a four-fight winning streak and hasn't tasted defeat since being crushed by Brazilian butt-kicker Jose Aldo way back at WEC 36 in late 2008. Stephens presents a formidable test for the surging prospect.

"Lil' Heathen" (19-6) retired Marcus Davis from the Octagon when he airmailed the New England native back to "Vacationland" via third round knockout at UFC 125 earlier this year.
The highlight-reel stoppage bumped him back into the win column after a close split decision loss to Melvin Guillard at UFC 119 to close out his 2010 fight campaign.
No question a win over a budding prospect like Brookins shoots him back up the divisinal ladder.
The Ultimate Fighter 13 Finale is currently scheduled to go down at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada, and will feature Anthony Pettis putting his lightweight number one contender spot on the line when he throws hands against energetic caveman Clay Guida.
