Shane Del Rosario makes short work of Lavar Johnson, forces submission in the first round

Strikeforce heavyweight prospect, Shane Del Rosario continued his march up the ranks in the division tonight with a first round arm bar submission win over veteran, Lavar Johnson in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
Johnson looks to move in and land the right but Del Rosario lands a front teep. The pair look to exchange again and Del Rosario secures the clinch and pushes Johnson up against the fence. The two exchange positions before Johnson secures a takedown and looks to throw down. Del Rosario gets back to his feet and the two exchange kicks. Johnson ducks under a punch and secures the clinch again. Del Rosario gets free but Johnson lands a nice right hand. Del Rosario lands a couple of nice punches and kicks before securing the clinch up against the fence. Johnson gets free and lands a nice right but Del Rosario lands a nice combination. Del Rosario with the takedown and quickly moves to the mount position. He postures up and looks to throw down but Johnson defends. Del Rosario postures up again and throws down, pinning down an arm with his leg. Johnson frees himself but Del Rosario moves to the arm bar and forces the tap.
