Marshall Zelaznik reveals that a TUF season pitting the UK against Australia could be just around the corner

UK UFC President, Marshall Zelaznik has today revealed that the possibility of seeing the best up-and-comers from the United Kingdom pitted against an Australian swell of talent on “The Ultimate Fighter” reality show might not be too far away and could be something that takes the promotion to the next level Down Under.
Speaking at the pre-fight UFC 127 press conference, Zelaznik said:
“We’re getting pretty far along. We’re not in the position to announce anything. There’s a lot of interest in the U.K. for it and a lot of interest for it here in Australia. We think it would be a massive, massive hit and could take us to the next level here.”
The big question would be who would coach such a season with perennial contenders, Michael Bisping and George Sotiropoulos at opposite ends of the spectrum to the likes of Kyle Noke and Ross Pearson in their respective divisions. Stay tuned to MMABay in the coming months for more on this as we get it.
