Welterweight Kenny Robertson has found himself in the difficult position of being released from his UFC contract following a single loss inside the octagon this past weekend to fast rising star, Mike Pierce.
The news was revealed to FiveOuncesOfPain.com earlier today by a source close to the situation, with the fighter later confirming it via his Facebook page.
The debutant was stopped via TKO in the second round by Pierce at UFC 126 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Prior to the loss he’d rifled off ten straight wins to open his mixed martial arts career including a submission win over John Kolosci at Bellator 25.
