Willamy Freire (17-4) has been released from his Zuffa contract

Following his unanimous decision loss to Waylon Lowe (10-3) at UFC Fight Night 23: "Fight for the Troops 2" on Jan. 22, former Shooto Champion Willamy Freire (17-4) has been released from his Zuffa contract, according to Tatame.
