Vitor Belfort dreaming of making his first title defence in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil on August 27th

UFC middleweight number one contender, Vitor Belfort has revealed his dream is to win the 185 pound crown next month when he squares off with Anderson Silva at UFC 126 in Las Vegas, Nevada, before heading to Rio de Janeiro in August to defend the title.
Speaking via MMAWeekly.com Belfort said:
“I think everybody wants to fight on that card. I’m dreaming to fight on that card. I hope I can be there. It was good, exciting, and this time I think it’s going to be more exciting.”
“If this is what God foresees, I will see it. I will receive that prophecy for sure. Now, it’s just time to conquer the dream.”
One major concern for Belfort will be if he can safely make the 185 pound weight limit for the fight after spending the last two years competing at either a higher weight class or out of action due to injury. Stay tuned to MMABay in the coming weeks for more build-up to this epic encounter as we get it.
