Paul “Semtex” Daley in talks to headline BAMMA 5, Frank Trigg a possible opponent (UPDATE)

Former UFC star and current Strikeforce contender, Paul “Semtex” Daley is reportedly in talks to headline the BAMMA 5 event on February 26^th in Manchester, England, with one possible name floated as a possible opponent being veteran, Frank Trigg.
Speaking via his own personal blog, Daley said:

“We are in advanced talks with BAMMA to fight at BAMMA 5, if the deal is done, and contracts are signed today, it would mean Semtex will be fighting in the UK!!! I hope we get it done today, I’m sure my management and PR company will announce when we’ve closed the deal.”

One possible opponent that MMABay can reveal today is Frank Trigg, although discussions with the former UFC and PRIDE star are currently a couple of weeks old. BAMMA is expected to make an announcement today with tickets set to go on sale tomorrow.

UPDATE: It has since been revealed to MMABay that Daley’s opponent is unlikely to be Frank Trigg. BAMMA will make a formal announcement later today to the MMA world.
