Strikeforce strike a deal with Japanese Pay-Per-View company to show forthcoming heavyweight grand prix

California based MMA promotion, Strikeforce have today struck a deal with Japanese Pay-Per-View company, SkyPerfect to broadcast its forthcoming events, including the star studded heavyweight grand prix which begins next month.
The news comes via Fighters Only Magazine, and interestingly co-insides with the huge decline from a business stand-point for Japanese based MMA promotions, DREAM and Sengoku.
With most of the eight man field set to compete for the heavyweight grand prix title having fought in Japan already the shows are likely to be viewed by huge numbers of fans across the country. A smart move if you ask me…
