Has the UFC made the right move installing Brock Lesnar as coach on TUF 13?

We’ve been asking you all week whether UFC President, Dana White and his merry men made the right decision when the installed former heavyweight champion, Brock Lesnar as a coach on the latest season of “The Ultimate Fighter” reality show, and while the majority of you agreed with the decision, it was far from clear cut.
With 55% (335 votes) were those of you who said yes, it was the right move to make the self professed “baddest man on the planet” a coach on the hit reality show. At the end of the day NO ONE has shifted more Pay-Per-Views than Brock Lesnar in the mixed martial arts world, something that will surely cross over to the weekly television show. Ok, it might be a good % of fans from his old days in professional wrestling but at the end of the day I ask you this, who’s going to benefit really from the extra viewers? Ultimately it will be the fighters involved in the show who have a great opportunity to be seen by huge numbers of people from their armchairs.
As for being a coach on the show, hand in hand with being a novice in the sport, well Brock was a top class wrestler for years, way before his days in the WWE. I’m sure he’ll be an inspiration for those on his team and motivation for those who are not. If there’s one thing he will teach them it will be how to work hard on improving you game, something he’s done from the word go despite what a certain section of fans will say. Lesnar is an enigma in the world of mixed martial arts, like it or not. People want to watch him on TV because you’re never quite sure when this powder keg is going to ignite and we’ll see the “real” monster emerge.
