Bellator Welterweight Tournament Lineup Complete

Recent signee Jay Hieron is officially onboard for Bellator’s next welterweight tournament. The opening round will see Hieron clash with Bellator veteran Steve Carl, who earned his place in the tournament by defeating Tyler Stinson last August. The two will meet at a yet-to-be-named event on March 5th.

The addition of this match up completes the full welterweight tournament lineup. Also included in the 8 man elimination event is Dan Hornbuckle, Rick Hawn, Brent Weedman, Chris Lozano, Jim Wallhead and former Bellator champion Lyman Good.

The 8 men will clash in a tournament format bracket, with the winner earning a shot at current champion Ben Askren’s title.

Bellator’s fourth season will air on MTV2.
