Anderson Silva predicts Junior dos Santos will be a “role model coach” on TUF 13, believes he’ll beat Lesnar

UFC middleweight champion, Anderson Silva has been speaking about his friend and training partner, Junior dos Santos’ appointment as a coach on the forthcoming season of “The Ultimate Fighter” show, explaining the Brazilian will be a “role model” for his team of young fighters.
Speaking via ESPN.co.uk, Silva said:
“He will make a great coach and role model in the gym for his entire team. He has only shown a percentage of what I know he has in the Octagon. His team will leave better fighters after training with him and the team.”
When asked how he thought his team mate would fare against former champion, Brock Lesnar, “The Spider” said:
“Brock is a tough opponent for anyone, but I believe Junior can beat Brock. His takedown defence is very good, and he is very athletic. I don’t believe he has been taken down in the UFC yet. But Brock Lesnar has great takedowns and their fight will be very exciting for the fans.”
Filming for the reality show is due to begin any day now, with the first episode set to hit our screens in the last week of March. With all the attention on Lesnar as a coach, dos Santos might just be the surprise package on this seasons show and end up gaining a few extra fans in the process.
