Paul Słowinski faces Marcin Rozalski at KSW 24
Two of the best Polish K-1 strikers will lock horns at the September’s 28 KSW 24 – Clash of the Giants event in Łódź’s Atlas Arena. KSW regular Marcin Rozalski will battle the MMA newcomer, Polish-born Australian Paweł Słowinski!
Nicknamed “The Sting”, Słowinski was born Strzegom, but now lives and trains in Australia. Often sporting the White Eagle (the coat of arms of Poland) on his attire, he is the only Polish-born kickboxer who has ever competed in the prestigious K-1 World Grand Prix finals.
Słowiński is a six-time kickboxing and mauy thai world champion of ISKA and WMC organizations, battling throughout his career such renowned combat sport stars as Alexey Ignashov, Badr Hari, Semmy Schilt, Gokhan Saki, Remy Bonjasky and the KSW 23 Melvin Manhoef.
At the September’s KSW 24 Słowiński will make his long-awaited MMA debut squaring off against the fellow kickboxer Marcin Rozalski.
The popular “Rozal”, just like “The Sting”, also holds many valuable victories in the K-1 ring. He has ISKA and WKA world championships under his belt as well as many Polish and European titles. In his kickboxing tenure he competed against Przemysław Saleta and Cheick Kongo to name a few.
In March 2011 Rozalski made his MMA debut and so far has had five professional fights, four of them for KSW. KSW 24 outing will be his first this year.
This classic MMA showdown of two formidable K-1 strikers cannot be missed. Get ready for KSW 24 – Clash of the Giants, high dose of adrenalin is guaranteed.
