CAGE WARRIORS is pleased to announce that it has signed a deal with FOX International

CAGE WARRIORS is pleased to announce that it has signed a deal with FOX International Channels to broadcast its events in the Middle East.

CWFC will stage 17 shows in 13 different countries this year, starting with Fight Night 3 in the Lebanese capital of Beirut this Saturday night.

FOX’s partnership with the UK organisation will see Cage Warriors events televised live on FX, which is also home to the likes of UFC Unleashed and Strikeforce.

“FX is the ideal destination for Cage Warriors,” said Francesco Denti, Head of Entertainment for FOX International Channels.

“We’re very excited at the idea of being the ones bringing Cage Warriors events live to the region. There’s immense potential for an event such as Cage Warriors here as the majority of the events in 2012 are being held in the Middle East and North Africa region.

“FX already has major franchises such as Strikeforce, UFC Unleashed, TNA Xplosion and Monster Knockouts in its schedule, and the addition of Cage Warriors will help take it to the next level, especially as many of the events will feature fighters from the region. This is an extraordinary opportunity for FX and Cage Warriors to increase visibility and popularity in the region.”

Graham Boylan, Cage Warriors director, added: “Signing a deal with FOX makes Cage Warriors the show to be on. Cage Warrriors now has the biggest TV footprint of any promotion outside of the USA.

“It’s exciting times for the Cage Warriors team. With a world tour of 17 shows in 13 different countries in 2012, inking a deal with FOX is just the icing on the cake.

“Cage Warriors is the busiest MMA promotion outside of the USA and having FOX on board makes it the perfect place for a fighter to get the exposure and credit they deserve for their efforts in this sport.”
