UFC 139 – Jon Fitch cleared to fight by his doctor, could meet Johny Hendricks on November 19th in San Diego

Former UFC welterweight title contender, Jon Fitch has finally been cleared to return to action inside the octagon after undergoing surgery on his shoulder earlier this year, with one possible opponent rumoured to be fast-rising 170 pounder, Johny Hendricks at UFC 139 on November 19^th in San Diego, California.
Posting via his Twitter page, Fitch said:

“I’m back! Dr. Kavitne gave me the OK to fight.”

Fitch will be looking to return to the winning column after drawing with former two-time champion, B.J. Penn in February when the pair met in the main event of the evening over in Australia. Prior to that he’d defeated the likes of Thiago Alves for a second time via unanimous decision.
As for Hendricks, the powerful wrestler continued his impressive run of wins inside the octagon when he notched a unanimous decision win over Mike Pierce on the UFC 133 show earlier this month. He also holds a win over “Ultimate Fighter” season seven winner, Amir Sadollah.
