A middleweight bout between two fighters on the rise has today been announced for the UFC 136 card on October 8th in Houston, Texas, as stand-out wrestlers, Aaron Simpson and Nick Catone will go head-to-head in a preliminary card bout.
The Las Vegas based promotion announced the fight earlier today, meaning both men have likely put pen to paper on official bout agreements.
Simpson will be looking to build on efficient unanimous decision wins over Brad Tavares and Mario Miranda in 2011 after suffering back-to-back losses to Mark Munoz and Chris Leben previously.
As for Catone, he is also boasting a two-fight winning streak after defeating Constantinos Philippou and Jesse Forbes. Prior to that he’d also lost to Mark Munoz, as well as Tim Credeur.
