Strikeforce Challengers 17 – Liz Carmouche hoping her fight with Sarah Kaufman steals the show

Strikeforce 135 pound women’s dynamo, Liz Carmouche has been giving her thoughts on facing former champion, Sarah Kaufman this weekend on the Strikeforce Challengers 17 card in Las Vegas, Nevada, explaining she thinks this fight will steal the show when it comes to action inside the cage.
Speaking via MMAWeekly.com, Carmouche said:
“I learned so much both in the fight with Marloes Coenen and the fight with Jan Finney. These are two really experienced women, who have really made a name for themselves in the sport.  So just to have an opportunity to face them, with me being so brand new, was such an honor.  To actually excel and do well was great for me, I’ve learned so much and I’ve improved my game.”
“I think that our styles are kind of similar.  I mean that our styles are kind of headstrong, keep going, fighting, never stopping, and just brawlers.  She looks like a beast. I’m really looking forward to that, but I see gaps that I hope to capitalize on. No offense to the main event, but I’m hoping to steal the show and take that away from them.”
Carmouche was unbeaten when she too faced Coenen in March this year on short notice and the rookie dominated the champion for much of the fight only to get snagged in a triangle choke in the fourth round. The powerful female wrestler will look to get back on the title trail when she takes on Kaufman on July 22nd in a fight that could feature on the televised card.
