Matt Wiman “fully content” with UFC 132 decision loss according to Dennis Siver

UFC lightweight on the rise, Dennis Siver has revealed that his opponent at UFC 132 this past Saturday night, Matt Wiman, is now “fully content” with the decision handed down by the judges in attendance after being able to re-watch the fight back at the hotel.
Speaking via GroundandPound.de, Siver said:
“Well, from my point of view that was the right decision. Everybody that has watched the fight also told me that, even Wiman himself. I just met him at breakfast and he didn’t argue with the judges’ decision anymore, after watching the fight himself.”
“I clearly won the first round, lost the second due to the situation on the ground, and won the third round again, so obviously I see the result exactly like the judges did. It was close indeed, but still in my favor.”
“I met him 15 minutes ago. He came over and congratulated me, we shot a few photos together and he said he is actually a fan of mine. He was fully content with the decision now, there were no hard feelings anymore.
“Saturday might have been a different situation, because from a fighters view things might look different than they really are. I didn’t know who won, either. After seeing the fight on TV he might have changed his mind. Unfortunately I haven’t been able to see the fight, yet so I can’t really argue with anybody. I can just tell from what I remember.”
Wiman had stormed out of the octagon after the results of the fight had been read out, apparently disgusted by what the judges had scored. After initially scoring the fight in favour of Wiman I don’t mind admitting that MMABay changed it’s opinion after re-watching the third round as well. Stay tuned for news on Siver next challenge as we get it.
