Look no further than UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones, a 24-year-old phenom with nothing but physical talent, mental stability and freakish athleticism that should, coupled with his considerable skill-set, put him at the top of the food chain for a long time to come.
But not just at 205-pounds. His brother, Baltimore Ravens defensive tackle Arthur Jones, says he'll be king of the heavyweights someday, as well (via ESPN):
"I'm telling you, he's going to be a heavyweight champion someday. Every sport he has ever played throughout high school -- unlike me -- he's always been the captain. He's always been the best on the defense. Always the best on the wrestling team. He is a born leader. I was a one-time state champ in wrestling in high school. He was a two-time state champ. He's just a freak child."Are you ready to embrace Jon Jones as your (potential) multiple division champion?
"Bones," whose massive frame will almost certainly necessitate a move up in weight at some point in his career, has already stated his desire to hold the heavyweight title.
With his abilities, it's not difficult to image him doing so. The question then becomes, can he become the first fighter in UFC history to hold belts in two separate weight classes at the same time?
Is that crazy talk? After all, he hasn't even defended his light heavyweight title once, something he'll attempt to do on Sept. 24 at UFC 135 against Quinton Jackson.
