The top six TUF Finale fights ever…

Roger Huerta vs. Clay Guida
Back on the sixth season finale these two up-and-comers at the time engaged in one of the best back-and-forth fights ever seen inside the octagon, with Huerta seemingly helpless to stop the powerful wrestling of Guida. When it all seemed to be lost and a series of close calls later, Huerta pulled a rabbit out of the hat in the final round, choking out his opponent for the win.

Diego Sanchez vs. Nick Diaz
The season two finale saw two proud hot-heads go at it in the octagon for three hard fought rounds and the pre-fight hype almost overshadowing the unbelievable fight that was to follow. Both men exchanged wildly on the feet and positions on the ground before Sanchez finally walked away with his hand raised.
Jon Koppenhaver vs. Jared Rollins
One of the craziest fights ever seen on the finale also happened to be on the season six show and featured two men looking to graduate from the house with honours. Possible best remembered for the vicious elbows thrown from the bottom by Rollins, Koppenhaver (otherwise known as ‘War Machine’) finally got the better of things and scored a third round TKO win.

Pete Sell vs. Scott Smith
Heard of the phrase ‘rescuing victory from the jaws of defeat’? Well that’s exactly what Scott Smith did during the second round of his season four fight with Pete Sell in Las Vegas. Having been badly hurt and reeling from a series of punches to the body, Smith doubled over by the fence looking for a quick breather. Sell rushed in and found himself decked by a huge right hand to the jaw, a homerun if you will, and Smith walked away with the win.

Clay Guida vs. Diego Sanchez
Another fight featuring these two warriors and neither man disappointed. From the opening bell the two powered to the middle and started throwing bombs but it wasn’t long before Sanchez got the better of it. The two continued to exchange wild shots but Sanchez being the bigger man began to wear on “The Carpenter” to walk away with a split decision win.

Forrest Griffin vs. Stephan Bonnar
The fight that sparked a revolution and featured on the season one finale of the reality show. Both men walked out of the octagon that night bruised, battered and with UFC contracts having fought their hearts out for three rounds with huge numbers of fans tuning into the sport for the very first time. What a way to kick it all off…
