Score Fighting Series results and recap from June 10 in Mississauga, Ontario

The Score Fighting Series, a budding mixed martial arts promotion based in Canada and presented by The Score Television Network, held its inaugural event last night, June 10, 2011, at the Hershey Centre in Mississauga, Ontario.
The 10 fight card featured a main event pitting Dream Welterweight Champion Marius Zaromskis taking on Jordan Mein. "The Whitemare" came in as the heavy favorite against the lesser known prospect but was out-struck on his way to a unanimous decision loss.
Mein is now 22-7 and has won his five consecutive fights. Were you watching UFC?
Speaking of which, a couple of Octagon veterans were also in action, as native Joe Doerksen outpointed Luigi Fioravanti, who has now lost two straight.
Finally, Rameau Thierry Sokoudjou, who said he was going to "sit on Roy Boughton's face and fart," didn't live up to his promise but did bring home the unanimous decision win, his third in a row.
