Dana White confirms Jim Miller is still ahead of Clay Guida despite recent win for ‘The Carpenter’

UFC President, Dana White has tonight confirmed that lightweight contender, Jim Miller is still ahead of Clay Guida in the 155 pound rakings despite “The Carpenter’s” impressive win over former WEC champion, Anthony Pettis tonight in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The head of the UFC revealed the news to MMAFighting.com, shooting down talk on message boards across the internet that Guida might have done enough to secure the next shot at the title.
Miller has won seven fights in a row inside the octagon and is set to face Ben Henderson on the UFC on Versus 5 card on August 14th in Milwaukee. A win for the AMA Fight Club fighter would likely see him face the winner of the Frankie Edgar vs. Gray Maynard rematch which is yet to be scheduled.
