UFC 132: Jason 'Mayhem' Miller vs Aaron Simpson fight booked for July 2

No TUF for you!
The recent announcement that Jason Miller had signed with the UFC has been quickly followed by a date and opponent for his next fight: against Aaron Simpson at UFC 132 on July 2 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The promotion brought word of the pending match-up earlier today with Dana White saying:
"Crafty veteran and colorful personality Jason "Mayhem" Miller has verbally agreed to make his UFC return against powerful wrestler Aaron "A-Train" Simpson in a middleweight matchup July 2 in Las Vegas."
"Mayhem" hasn't seen the inside of a cage since April 2010 and hasn't actually competed since last October. That's not for lack of trying, at least not on his part.
The outspoken "Bully Beatdown" host has no qualms with picking a fight (see Diaz, Nick) but for various reasons it never came to be. A rumored mash-up against Tim Kennedy went by the wayside as recently as last month with Miller's frustration growing with each passing day.
But he's not in San Jose anymore.
Less than two days after signing with the UFC, "Mayhem" has a fight ... and it's no walk in the park.

Aaron Simpson is less than a month removed from his March 26, 2011, unanimous decision beatdown of Mario Miranda at UFC Fight Night 24: "Nogueira vs. Davis."
Good thing, too, considering he had dropped consecutive fights to Chris Leben and Mark Munoz, respectively. "A-Train" is just 8-2 in his professional career that dates back to 2007 but the NCAA Division I wrestler, 36, is no push over.
Agree with the decision to book "Mayhem" against Simpson for his re-debut inside the Octagon?
UFC 132 features a main event between bantamweight champion Dominick Cruz and his 135-pound arch enemy, Urijah Faber. Wanderlei Silva and Chris Leben are also expected to throw hands in "Sin City."
Also on the card are match ups that pit Melvin Guillard vs. Shane Roller, George Sotiropoulos vs. Evan Dunham and Dennis Siver vs. Matt Wiman.
