RINGSIDE MMA 10 was held Saturday night (April 9, 2011) at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
The main event featured a battle between two former UFC fighters, Patrick Cote and Kalib Starnes. It was the first fight for "The Predator" since being released from the UFC in Nov. 2010 following his third consecutive loss inside the Octagon.
After losing the first round, Cote unleashed punches and kicks, as well as a late takedown to win rounds two and three en route to a unanimous decision victory over "The Running Man."
It marked the first win for the Montreal striker since 2008, which clearly felt good ... and different:

"It felt great to win. I have not won in a while and I almost forgot what it felt like to win. It's been three years since I felt that winning feeling."
On his opponent, "The Predator" had this to say:
Starnes came to fight and he's a tough guy. I hit him with some solid elbows that I thought would bust him up but he toughed it through."
Cote is rumored to fight Phil Baroni next in Quebec City sometime this summer. For more details on RINGSIDE MMA X check out TSN.ca.
