Muhammed “King Mo” Lawal vs. Roger Gracie rumoured for Strikeforce’s first ever Pay-Per-View event in July

A light heavyweight clash between former Strikeforce champion, Muhammed “King Mo” Lawal and Brazilian submission machine, Roger Gracie is rumoured for a July date, a card that could be the California based MMA promotions debut on a Pay-Per-View format.
Sources close to the situation revealed the news to MMAWeekly.com earlier today, although a specific date and location is yet to be determined.
Lawal (7-1) was last seen attempting to defend his Strikeforce light heavyweight title against Rafael “Feijao” Cavalcante at in August of last year. The night didn’t end well for “King Mo,” as Cavalcante beat him on the feet and defended well against the takedown en route to taking the 205-pound title from Lawal.
Gracie has looked impressive despite only a handful of fights under his belt thus far in his mixed martial arts career including submissions of Trevor Prangley and Kevin Randleman. He is currently 4-0 overall in his MMA career with four submission wins.
