Former UFC lightweight stand-out, Roger Huerta has today moved to deny rumours that he’s set to retire from the sport after several months away from the Bellator FC cage, explaining he’s just healing up a series of niggling injuries.Speaking via MMAWeekly.com, Huerta said:
“Nah man all good. Just healing up and will be back at it in no time.”
Huerta’s switch to Bellator didn’t go exactly according to plan, winning his opening bout against a complete unknown before coming unstuck against Pat Curran and current 155 pound champion, Eddie Alvarez.
