Evans to meet Lil Nog Feb 2nd

Brazilian media giant OGlobo is reporting that a fight between former UFC Light Heavyweight champion Rashad Evans and Brazilian legend Antonio Rogerio "Little Nog" Nogueira has been agreed to for a card on Superbowl weekend. Other sources have now confirmed that the bout is in the works.

Targeted date is 2 February 2013, and will likely be UFC 156 or 157, depending of course on the number of major card between that date and UFC 155 which is on 29 December 2012.

SporTV says the fight has been agreed to verbaly, but that neither side has signed a contract.

Evans has not fought since a decision loss to champion Jon Jones at UFC 145 in April. Little Nog is coming off a win over Tito Ortiz way back at UFC 140 on 10 December 2011.
