Anthony Pettis Admitted To Hospital With Staph Infection

Anthony Pettis (15-2 overall, 2-1 UFC) was admitted to a Milwaukee, Wisconsin area hospital yesterday after a staph infection was found on one of his elbows.
According to his manager Mike Roberts, the infection was caught early and doesn’t appear to be serious at the moment. Pettis was taken to the hospital as a precautionary measure, and will undergo immediate treatment to try and clear up the infection.
Unfortunately, this isn’t the only setback Pettis has experienced this year, as he he’s been going through a difficult rehabilitation period after undergoing shoulder surgery back in March.
