With Rampage Jackson out of UFC 153 with damaged knee, Fabio Maldonado calls for fight with Glover Teixeiraon on October 13^th in Rio de Janeiro.

Speaking via MMAJunkie.com, Maldonado said:

“I want this fight. I know our styles would make for an incredible fight for the fans, and I want this opportunity. I hope the UFC will grant me this one request. Glover and I were supposed to fight in Brazil back before either of us was in the UFC. I think now would be the perfect time. I hope the UFC will make this fight. If they give me the chance, I will knock Glover out.”
