Greg Loughran and Tim Newman will both return to Cage Warriors FightingChampionship action when they square off against each other in Wales nextmonth.
The pairwill clash in a lightweight bout on the main card of Cage Warriors 49, whichwill take place at St David’s Hall in Cardiff on Saturday, October 27.
Loughran(22-18-0), who recently signed an exclusive CWFC contract, has already foughtthree times for the organisation during a professional career that began 10years ago.
The29-year-old has defeated UFC veterans Andre Winner and Jonathan Brookins underthe Cage Warriors banner in the past. He has also previously fought forBellator.
TheIrishman, who is on a four-fight win streak, holds other notable wins over thelikes of Norman Parke, Francis Heagney and BAMMA champion Rob Sinclair. Newman(8-3-0) finds himself back on a CWFC card for the first time since aspectacular 10-second KO of Grzegorz Tredowski at Cage Warriors 42 last year.
The likesof Diego Vital and Aaron Wilkinson are also among his victims and the29-year-old Welshman will be eager to return to winning ways following adecision loss to Curt Warburton in December.
