UFC on Versus 5 ratings garner 766,000 viewers for 'Hardy vs Lytle' on Aug. 14

If the UFC has indeed entered into business with FOX, its relationship with the Versus channel will be ending very shortly. How big of a hit would that be?
According to the Sports Business Journal, UFC on Versus 5,  which took place on Aug. 14 at the Bradley Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, brought in 766,000 viewers, up slightly from the 744,000 the cable channel garnered for the "Kongo vs. Barry" event this past June 26.
The four-fight broadcast featured the final fight in the long and storied career of Chris Lytle, who made the most of it by engaging in a slobberknocker with British "Outlaw" Dan Hardy for three rounds.
And before it was all said and done, "Lights Out" brought the house down with a guillotine submission victory, earning him both "Submission of the Night" and "Fight of the Night" in the process.

Also on the card was a lightweight scrap that may or may not have determined the next contender to the 155-pound title, as Ben Henderson turned in the performance of his life by battering Jim Miller en route to a three-round unanimous decision win.
Donald Cerrone continued his trek up the lightweight ladder with an impressive first round technical knockout of Charles Oliveira, while Duane Ludwig proved he's still got plenty left in the tank by knocking around Amir Sadollah long enough to earn a judges decision.
