UFC on Versus 5 – Amir Sadollah doesn’t have a game plan Duane Ludwig showdown but does expect a great fight

“Ultimate Fighter” season seven winner, Amir Sadollah has been giving his thoughts on his UFC on Versus 5 showdown this weekend with heavy handed veteran, Duane Ludwig, revealing he’s not done an awful lot of game planning ahead of this one but does expect it to be a great fight all the same.
Speaking via Heavy.com, Sadollah said:

“Plans? I hate plans. I really do expect a great fight and I think it’s going to be fast paced and violent. I’m predicting myself to win — that’s a given — but as far as how it plays out, we’ll see that night.
“I don’t personally have any expectations at all. I’m prepared for anywhere the fight goes. The thing for me is I never like to approach any fight thinking I know what’s going to happen or with too much of a game plan other than to impose my will and keep the fight where I have the advantage.”
“Do I expect a lot of striking in this fight? Yes, so I’m ready for it and I’m excited for it. I never make any promises, so you never know. He could come out and pull guard for all I know. We’ll see how it goes. Stylistically, I think it will be very exciting.”
Sadollah continues to go from strength to strength following his disappointing loss to undefeated Korean, Dong Hyun Kim last year when he defeated Peter Sobotta and DaMarques Johnson in impressive fashion. Ludwig got his octagon career back on track following back-to-back losses to Kim Miller and Darren Elkins when he pulled off a split decision win over Nick Osipczak at UFC 122 in Oberhausen, Germany in November.
