Speaking via UFC.com, Cane said:

“I’m sure I’m ready for the next level, but I have a tough and dangerous fight in Nedkov. So now I’m just thinking of him.”
As for the octagon heading to Brazil for the first time in fifteen years, Cane said:“I’m sure they (the fans) will see the biggest show in the UFC history. They’ve never seen a crowd like they will see in Rio. I’m very excited for this fight and I’m very proud to fight for my people.”
Cane recently got his octagon career back on track, stopping Eliot Marshall in the first round via TKO. Prior to that he had been stopped himself by top rated strikers, Antonio Rogerio Nogueira and Cyrille Diabate.
