It has been revealed that UFC featherweight number one contender, Kenny Florian will get the chance to further his career in presenting and as a colour commentator at the forthcoming UFC 134 card in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, filling in for Joe Rogan on the night. Rogan revealed he was unable to attend the event in South America due to commitments filming the new season of Fear Factor, something I’m sure fans hope is true and it’s not a manoeuvre by the UFC/FOX to remove the often outspoken comedian from the ranks.
Florian has since confirmed that he will be travelling to Rio and will fill in alongside regular front man, Mike Goldberg on the night which will see the octagon return to Brazil for the first time in fifteen years.
