UFC 133 results: After finishing Tito Ortiz, Rashad Evans wants to 'teach Jon Jones a lesson'

Rashad Evans finished Tito Ortiz -- once and for all -- in the main event last night (Aug. 6) of UFC 133 at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and earned himself a light heavyweight title shot in the process.
And a ticket to Denver, Colorado, to challenge the winner of Jon Jones vs. Quinton Jackson at UFC 135 on Sept. 24.
Of course, while a win for Ortiz last night would have undoubtedly been good for business as the Huntington Beach hype train would have only built more and more steam, UFC President Dana White is surely seeing nothing but dollar signs at the possible 205-pound title match-ups.
It's either Evans vs. "Rampage" in a rematch of a fight that originally drew over 1 million buys on pay-per-view or Evans vs. Jones in a fight that would surely draw just as many.
Naturally, "Suga" spoke on his rooting interest coming next month and it's no surprise who he's cheering for:

"I would prefer to get it from Jones because I would love to be the first one to beat him. He's so cocky. He's so cocky, like, you think I'm cocky, he's for real cocky. Like I'm on camera joking around cocky, he's like go to sleep praising himself cocky. That's how cocky he is. But I would love to teach him a lesson and if he's able to get past "Rampage" then I'll get the chance to do that. But, like I said, he has a tough fight ahead of him."

UFC 133 was supposed to feather Evans vs. Jones as "Bones'" first title defense; however, an injured thumb/wrist forced the champ to delay his return and with Rashad having been out of action for so long, he was instructed to remain on the card.
Enough controversy ensued that interest in a prospective bout has remained high, to the point of overshadowing Evans fight against Ortiz and to an extent, Jones fight against Jackson.
Simply put, fight fans are ready to see these two finally settle their differences inside the cage.
