Marloes Coenen proves Dana White was lying about Golden Glory insisting that they are paid and not the fighters

Former Strikeforce women’s 135 pound champion, Marloes Coenen has gone on the offensive today when following UFC President, Dana White’s claims that the reason she and other Golden Glory fighters were cut from the Zuffa banner was their management’s insistence that they were paid and not the fighters themselves.
Posting via her twitter, Coenen said:

“@danawhite hurts me 2 hear things about my management that are not true.”

 

The former women’s champion also posted the picture (left, click to enlarge) which clearly shows a check dated 30/07/11 from one of Zuffa’s subsidiary companies paying her direct, something Dana claims only happened in the case of Jon Olav Einemo back in June. Is this just another lie the head of the UFC has been caught out on?
