UFC 137 – B.J. Penn moves his training camp to California for upcoming fight with Carlos Condit

It has today been revealed that former UFC lightweight champion, B.J. Penn has moved his training camp from Hawaii to California in order to prepare for his UFC 137 clash with Carlos Condit on October 29th in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Speaking via MMAWeekly.com Erik Apple, one of Penn’s training partners, revealed:
“We’re training down at RVCA (in Costa Mesa). We have B.J. Penn, Reagan Penn training down there, as well as Kendall Grove. Both Kendall Grove and Reagan Penn are going to be fighting on Pro Elite’s event Aug. 27 in Honolulu, Hawaii.”
“They’re going to be preparing for Aug. 27, and after that, B.J. is going to stay here and continue to get ready for his fight with Carlos Condit in October. Reagan has very, very good jiu-jitsu, amazing jiu-jitsu. He can certainly be a star in mixed martial arts, just like B.J.”
Penn is coming off a creditable draw over top welterweight contender, Jon Fitch in February. Prior to that he’d stopped former champion and long-time rival, Matt Hughes in the very first round with a devastating knockout blow.
