A heavyweight tilt between former Sengoku stand-out, Dave Herman and experienced veteran, Mike Russow has today been announced for the UFC 136 card on October 8th in Houston, Texas. The promotion made the announcement via it’s official website earlier today meaning the official bout agreements have likely been signed on both sides.
Herman kicked off his octagon career is style when he took on dangerous submission master, Jon Olav Einemo in Vancouver, Canada. After a back and forth seven minutes it was Herman who scored the decisive knock down and was able to finish the fight via TKO.
Russow made a name for himself when he took everything Todd Duffee could throw at him for three rounds before landing a right hand out of nowhere to end the fight. He has since dominated Jon Madsen to extend his winning streak to an impressive ten fights.
