UFC 133: Yoshihiro Akiyama better be ready for Vitor Belfort on Aug. 6 in Philadelphia

Because he's coming to -- surprise -- knock him out.
In his first fight since losing spectacularly to Middleweight Champion Anderson Silva, Vitor Belfort will match hands with Japanese judoka Yoshihiro Akiyama at UFC 133 on Aug. 6 in Philadelphia.
As "The Phenom" explains to UFC.com, leave your popcorn in the microwave because he's going to make it quick:
"Philly is the 'City of Rock.' And a rock is known to knock people out. So in Philly, Aug. 6, I'll knock (Yoshihiro Akiyama) out. So don't get your popcorn, don't leave your couch. Stay there and be ready. Akiyama is a stand-up guy, he likes to bang. Great judo throws ... he's a pretty tough guy. He really likes to stand and trade punches. When you have four-ounce gloves on your hands, the fight can end anytime. ... I'm ready for him; he better be ready for me."
Sure, this is the standard fare as far as trash talk goes (he's no Chael Sonnen), but at the very least, Vitor was enthusiastic and looks eager to redeem himself for his awesome failure back in Feb. against Silva.
Not only that, this fight holds significance for the repercussions in the event of a Belfort loss. That would give him two in a row and, as the number seven ranked middleweight, a loss to the number 21 ranked 185-pounder would be nothing short of unacceptable.
