Alexandre “Cacareco” Ferreira pulled from UFC 134 because he was released by the promotion

Brazilian submission machine, Alexandre “Cacareco” Ferreira was recently pulled from the UFC 134 card on August 27th in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil because he was released by the promotion, not because he had picked up an injury as first thought.
The news was confirmed by MMAJunkie.com earlier today after speaking to a source close to the situation although the Las Vegas based promotion are yet to confirm it.
Ferreira competed once inside the octagon back at UFC 122 in November, 2010, losing out to veteran Vladimir Matyushenko in the very first round via TKO. He was due to face rival submission ace, Rousimar Palhares at UFC 134 before he was replaced by Dan Miller.
