XFO 39 results and recap from May 13 in Hoffman Estates, Illinois

Xtreme Fighting Organization (XFO) 39 took place last night (May 13, 2011) from the Sears Centre Arena in Hoffman Estates, Illinois.
The 11-fight card saw a couple of UFC veterans return to action, as both Jeff Curran and Jamie Varner were on the card.
Curran dominated late replacement Billy Vaughan for a three-round unanimous decision victory. After the impressive showing, "Big Frog" claimed he will only fight for the UFC in the future.
If they don't want him then he will retire. Stay tuned.
Varner, a former WEC lightweight champion who hadn't won a fight since Jan. 2009, got back into the win column via first round submission over Tyler Combs. It took "The Worm" just 1:30 to apply the fight-ending north-south choke that forced the tap.
But that's not all.
