UFC 134: Rousimar Palhares vs Alexandre 'Cacareco' Ferreira booked for Aug. 27

Stumpy submission specialist Rousimar Palhares and Alexandre "Cacareco" Ferreira have agreed to go toe-to-toe at UFC 134: "Rio," which is scheduled for Aug. 27, 2011, at the HSBC Arena in Rio de Janiero, Brazil, according to Portal do Vale Tudo.
The two Brazilians -- former teammates at Brazilian Top Team -- have apparently made verbal agreements to throw down, however, contracts have not yet been signed at this time.
Palhares most recently sent Dave Branch to the land of the unemployed after applying his trademark heel hook in the second round of their UFC on Versus 3 bout back in March.
Ferreira, meanwhile, dropped his Octagon debut to veteran Vladmir Matyushenko also via first round technical knockout (strikes) in a light heavyweight contest back at UFC 122 in November. The Jungle Fight veteran was on a seven-fight winning run before getting swept up by the "Janitor."
He'll look to avoid back-to-back losses as a middleweight his next time out opposite "Paul Harris."
UFC 134: "Rio" will feature Anderson Silva defending his middleweight strap against Yushin Okami, while Mauricio Rua will make his return for the first time since losing his light heavyweight title against Forrest Griffin.
